Intuitive Collaging
Collage has been one of my favorite forms of creative expression since I began creating artwork. I still partake in hand collaging photographs and mixed media, however there is something magical about the digital platform when it comes to piecing together imagery in an unexpected juxtaposition.

One of my earliest professional projects was to create many digital pieces for The Camby, Autograph Collection in Phoenix Arizona, which were then printed on a number of different substrates including wallcovering and canvas. The entire collection is made up of whimsy, many being playful and unexpected art mash-ups, while remaining elevated in their aesthetic.
This project has continued to inspire my personal and professional works as it allows me to insert the element of play into my ditial creations.

Logo Study-The Indigo Bride
Working with Bree Denman, owner of The Indigo Bride-Creative Wedding Planning and Design Services, I was able to create a logo that spoke to her vision. Bringing the branding of a new company come to life is always so invigorating and inspiring, and the process of sketching ideas and collaborating with business owners like Bree is one of my passions.
In the case of the Indigo Bride, Bree was inspired by the Newberry Volcano that is located about 20 miles south of Bend, Oregon, where she was starting her business. She wanted to combine the theme of the indigenous landform with a more feminine touch, by bringing in a floral element with a pop of indigo to pair with the name of the company. The sketches at the right are all concepts that were developed before finalizing the logo below.

WANDERLUST & DESERT LUST
Two pieces inspired by a spring trip to Palm Springs; the mid century architecture, relaxed vibes, desert flora, and of course, the sunshine.

Watercolor on Paper
One of my favorite hand art mediums to experiment with has become watercolor. A huge proponent of art as a stress reliever, there’s something soothing about watching the colors mix and blend on the paper, often having a personality of their own.
Nature being one of my biggest inspirations, it’s no surprise that some of my favorite subjects include plants, both indigenous to my home of Las Vegas as well as the places I’ve traveled.

Charlotte-a Digital Painting
An especially enjoyable subject of artwork, both personally and professionaly, is always animals. To the left is a digital painting of my 9lb chihuahua beagle mix, Charlotte, wearing glasses and a yellow jacket and looking especially chic. I’ve done a number of digital paintings of friends’ dogs as gifts over the years and there is a certain thrill that comes with creating each design.
A project that I’m particularly proud of, as it is local to Las Vegas as well as includes numerous Animal mashups is Top Golf Las Vegas. To view some of the pieces that I worked on for this venue, head to the Birdie Bar and you will find various archival golf images with heads of birds.

Christi & Peter
Assisting clients with save the dates and wedding invitations is always a joy, as we are bringing to life a celebration of togetherness and of love. Every piece tells a story about the couple, whether literally or abstractly.
Christi and Peter wanted to tell the story of how they met, where the live now, and where they are getting married through hand sketches of different locations in California, Chicago, and Washington.
Angela & Roy
Planning their wedding in the breathtaking Russian River, Angela and Roy knew they wanted a design that could incorporate a modern aesthetic with the mountains and trees their guests would be experiencing at the event.
Originally going with a deeper color palette in the save the dates, as they expected their wedding to be later in the fall, it was easy to pivot once they moved the date and wanted a lighter feel for the invitations. The angles were carried throughout to create a cohesive look and feel.

Liz & Justin
Liz and Justin were inspired by the colors and flora of the desert in Las Vegas, where they would be getting married. It was easy to create the save the date with the breathtaking photo of the couple in front of a desert sunset, and design the invitations using a similar color palette and a feminine watercolor inspired by desert cacti flowers.
